Expectations After Installing ARU | Aerobic Septic Problems Solution

There should be no septic odor from the system after 2-5 days of installation. Call your OTS™ installer immediately if odor is persistent.
Ponding may move to different locations in the Drainfield.
If ponding remains during the early stages of recovery it should be odor free.
"Bubbles" or "foaming" may be present above the cleanout cover during early stages of recovery.
Depending on the degree of deterioration of the Drainfield, it may be necessary to have your Septic Tank or Cesspool pumped during the early stages of the recovery process until enough recovery has been done to handle daily flow rates.
Exercise patience. Your system developed problems over many years and it will take time to reverse and eliminate the effects of the anaerobic process.
